yes but im saying £500 would probably be the least you'd pay unless its a complete no brain that owns it now that doesnt know the parts are in demand!!

Emissions problems - you mean its failed an MOT on emissions, thats a rebuild or another engine before its going on the road.

all depends if its failed on the CO count or lamda count, CO means its an engine problem lamda usually means its an exhaust problem afaik

Take that price.. and think about how much a Decent GSi would cost...

Now subtract and add the following Costs to your £450...

Subtract Interior (seats roof lining door cards) and anything else you can sell off it
add 1 bucket seat
Add Cost of Engine of your choice
add cost of restoring/respraying paint work
cheap second hand wheels


to be honest if done on the cheap you would spend no more than £1000 (takign into account sale of interior) if you can do the work yourself add that to your £450 and you have probably around about the same price of a Mint Standard GSi

As long as the Chassis is Fine.... Go for it Boab!!
