My car has decieded to run unlimited boost 
why is this?
noticed it kus i wound the boost and thought hmmmm this feels quicker than usual and as i watched the boost gauge it wound past 0.8 and carried on to 1 bar so i backed off

think i know what you mean..... 'boosted'.... 
but, yeah, could be a vac pipe off.... best to have a look in the bay before boosting it again

Wouldnt this have the opposite affect of whats happening?

Mines acting up aswell.....can be fine sometimes othertimes its all over the place & wont stay at peak boost!! Some boost pressure sensor I think i was told to replace

marc - vac pipes are needed for both......
if one is off going to something indicating what the current pressure is, for example...
For example... pulling one of the vac pipes that goes to one of the VSV's on mkIV supra will increase the boost alot
Kerry - have a biscuit... i thought you were meaning somthing like wound the boost up... on a bleed or something...

i havnt touched a thing
i noticed it kus the car feels quicker and the gauge went past 0.8 what its been set to and round to 1 bar so i let off
is dark so will look tomorrow

wastegates probably not opening so the boost just contiunes to rise. Could be the actuator pipe as vibs says.

Just check to see if the actuator is missing a connection, that'll probably be easier and more conclusive.
Or just load it up in 5th and see how fast it goes before it lets go...
