As a follow on from the marriage and relationship threads today i thought id ask

Who's parents are divorced and if you wish to say why?
Or has anyone on here been married and divorced?

havent been married or divorced lol
my parents are happily married, they met at age 17, got engaged 2 weeks after, and goit married 2 month after this....they are now nearly 50

My mum n dad got married at 19 and were split by about 32/33 my mum and step dad were married through me being 7-17 when they split

I feel the lack of a male figure in my late teen life has had a detromental effect on my outlook on life or not

My parents met at 25 and 22 and were married a year later but got divorced after 14 years
They are both re-married now and are happy so thats all that matters to me

But there has definately been an effect of this on the way i trust men and how i feel about relationships

My mum and dad have been married for almost 20 years and my gran and grandpa just over 50 till he died a few weeks ago but all my other relatives like aunts and uncles seem to be divorced or on the way there

Parents got divorced when i was 4, didnt see my dad for almost 4 years either We get on really well now though so its all good!

Nobody had ever been divorced in my Family they are quite old fashioned that way That was until my Aunty married a wanker and ended up divorcing him!

Thought they were well matched aswell cos she's a right bitch
