i put an item up on auction, but i think the reserve is too high now.
is there any way of lowering it?

if your item has no bids then you can revise your item, goto your auction page and the revise option above your main pic at the top

Once the auction has ended, and your item has not met the reseve price, you can send a 'second chance offer' to the highest bidder if the bid in you opinion is high enough
