i used to be a car salesman (Landrover, MG Rover, Fiat, Mercedes)
hours are long, its very stressfull and tiring (yes cocaine does help) but the money is pretty good if you work your bollocks off and dont rely on your basic.
I was getting 2.5-3k a month and a company car which isnt bad.

my sisters bf does and he likes it, works well but is comisson based, dotn sell cars and you get fuck all pay! sell cars and you lie well! as mist xe says do wel land you ean 30k ish

Corb DOES 
Started a new job Monday, now with SEAT. Turned the company car down and have gone in as a 'trainee' cos thats the only people who were advertising for a job! If I'm honest, it's crap. Weekends, long weekday hours. OK, so you might get decent money, but the amount of time you have to work, dont get enough time to enjoy it!

most people have to work weekends too,
i was offered apprenticeship with lancaster porsche and ferrari selling cars when i done my a levels!
Considering how few ferraris are sold i realised it would never work and would never earn much.
But i say give it a go, as you cant say till you have tried it,

Last place was 8:30 til 6. Lucky if you take a lunch break, get a day off during week and i get off every other sunday.
Doesnt mean you actually finish at 6 though, ive been there til 9 some nights.

i work 7.30 to 5.30 3 days a week and 9-5.30 the other 2!
Obviously apart from trying to sell cars, what other tasks do you carry out?
