Noble has chosen again to adopt a highly-modified version of Ford’s 3.0-litre V6, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, for use in the M14. The unit, which in base form also powers certain Jaguar cars, has proved particularly durable in five years of Noble M12 development and production.

Like the GTO-3R and M400 models, the engine employs twin turbochargers, but uses an engine map developed specifically for the M14. In common with the 425bhp M400 model, the M14 will gain forged pistons to ensure durability. Maximum power will be 400bhp at 6100rpm, with a wholesome 385lb ft of torque at 4750rpm. Estimated performance will be 0-60mph in 4.3 seconds, 0-100mph in 9.5 seconds and a top speed of 190mph.

bit of a let down with the engine though You recon they could get anymore power out of the thing (more than 425)? - its the sort of car that looks like it should have 500brake+

eitherway, its a bloody nice car

It's over priced, although it looks nice and is very quick it's got no new technology it uses old engines and I imagine will sound like a supercar of days of old (lotus turbo or similar) which is not what you wana spend £75k on (my mr2 comparrison) but I accept it looks good and i'm sure it'll will handle nice and be quick I don't know why I'm putting it down really it just seems right to do so

hmm put the Noble M14, Ferrari 360 and ford Gt on the track and that would be an interesting match up

watched a programme last night called |Rebuilding a Race car legend where the Ford GT running a Mustang V8 (was a Ford workhorse before they managed to ge tthe Supercharged engine in) with 400bhp lapping 4-5 seconds quicker round Road Atlanta..

Ford Gt was lapping alot faster at Laguna Seca with the production V8 Supercharged Engine producing 500bhp

i think the Noble could beat the ferrari easily and Maybe match the GT
