"]

The engine is by Ray West Racing:
Ported head and manifold, enlarged throttle body,
RS500 intercooler, reshaped valve angles, Cosworth low comp pistons, balanced and polished con rods, machined for cooper rings, block stress relieved
custom high lift and duration camshafts, balanced and lightened crank, clutch and flywheel, grey injectors, T35 turbo with enlarged inlet side and 360 bearing with left hand thread. 3" scorpion exhaust. Quick shift. Gives approx 430BHP

Lots of bailey ally engine parts: Breather, header tank, power steering reservoir, swirl pot. Spec R Grp A dump valve. Samco hoses.

Live mapped L6 ECU

Avo adjustable shocks, with eibach springs. Polybushed with autobahn strut brace.

330mm cross-drilled front discs with Ap racing 4 pot calipers and green stuff pads all round. Braided hoses all round.

17" alloys (not sure what they are called) which are imaculate, with loads of tread left. Rs500 front valance.

Ford racing gauges, and white dial set.

Custom hand stitched charcoal leather interior with half matching blue alacantara - cost £2000 alone

The body work on this is near mint, The engine has all been done, and it can stop and go round corners. Not your average 3dr
As mentioned the only reason for the sale is the insurance company wanting silly money.
I will post pics asap.
I am looking for offers around £8500 and no px please. I can me contacted on 07742521277 if there are any questions.

Black

56,000miles

Full service History including MOTs

1 previous owner

Cambelt changed less than 1000miles ago at Graham Goode (+full service plugs/oil and fuel filter.....)

Lots of receipts including Safety recal from Ford (when they carried out a wirring check )

Total standard engine and car bar a change of head unit and steering wheel (original wheel is included with sale, looks like it has never been touched).

The paint work is absolutely outstanding, the photos don't do it justice. Will take some more next time the sun is out.

The spare wheel still has the original Dunlope tyre and looks as though its has never been fitted.

The car was bought from Polar Ford and is registered on an E plate. The car still retains its original polar ford number plates. That impressed me when I bought the car anyway

I would like about £9500 for the car. If you are after an original unmolested example then I don't think you will find one better.

Only done a short add, but if anyone is genuinly interested PM me and I will give you my contact details.

Thanks
Stewart

its a k plate lux model, which has been reshelled into a newer shape (brand new) shell due to a crash. it was bought as a rolling shell from Paul at north yorks. he also fitted my engine etc which was from a late shaff bought from doug off here.

its radient red
full leather which is mint
electric sunroof
c/l
electric mirrors
electric windows.
the engine is very very good, and extrememly quiet, it is standard except a cone filter.
18" dark chrome alloys with as good as new tyres
rs500 style cooler
clear indicators

the body work is in extremely good condition with only 3 minor scratches which i will get photos off.

this is a very good escort cosworth, the body is near mint, the engine is sweet as, the trim is mint.

despite being a reshell it is NOT on the hit list and completely hpi clear

im asking £8k as one side will need painting due 2 key marks. if i dont get that then il keep it and continue with my mods as i had planned

It's a reshell, so V. scary - shell could be of any origin and wouldn't touch with a barge pole. Also fitted with most disgusting wheels this side of Southend on a Saturday night so not realy worth a wank.

If your gonna buy a Cosworth, you buy the best you can, that means no re-shells, all original, mint, and plenty of history.

That thing's probably only fit for a bit of grass track racing/rallycross. Possibly not even that (could be a ringer, or a 1.6L 2 door shell with dodgy paperwork)
