I've got a new one in the post, better spec I just wanna fix the broken one or use a few bit out the broken one in another laptop

What's wrong with the knackered one. Medion make other machines for other manufacturers so it might have an Advent equivalent, etc?

I think it's the motherboard. When typing the curser flies off, CD drive will only read DVD and makes a noise when the battery is charging. Probably does other odd things but i can't rem

Are you sure you have the right model number? Is there an MDxxxx number anywhere on it (underneath with the serial number, etc.)?

I read that they are same as the 9467? Is the spec of this one the same?

Yeah the specs are slightly different between all the machines on the list, but they are built around the same reference platform so stuff like your battery and charger, etc. will fit.

I think the boards will be the same in the Medion MD9467 and MD9580A.
