since i updated my AVG and windows package over updates for some reason on my msn 7.0 messanger all pics sent to me are blocked for some reason due to they not safe and i asked one of my mates to sent me picture and new his pc aint got any viruses , still blocked it , now i got to have pictures sent through email to me, he told me i got to put the level off protection too medium but dont know were to go and what to do???
anybody help me out on this

First of all id suggest getting the latest build from http://messenger.msn.com
Then go into MSN messenger, click tools, then options. click the file transfer tab, and take the tick out of the check box for Scan files for viruses using:
Should work then.

i got the new msn 7.0 and it got that tick box i ticked out the box and it still doing it

If the other person has a version which isnt 7.0813 then this will cause it.

do a search on google for the Messenger A-Patch.
It allows you remove all the adds, tabs and things you don't want from MSN. It also removes file security for .jpgs and other forms of blocked files.
