When I went away to Spain last year I was allowed to hire a car from one of the hire companies (cant remember which one it was) because their minimum driver age was 19 and I was 19 so that was ok.

Im 20 now and will still be 20 when I go away to Majorca in September but I cant find anywhere that will let me hire a car this time as they all seem to have minimum age of 21 now!

Anyone know of companies that will let me hire a car in Majorca at 20?

I havent got a license for one and even if I did I wouldnt want to hire one especially with the way that they drive in Spain!

u can drive a moped on car liscense in spain! we had them im ibiza

www.drivespain.com had a car from then a month ago aged 20 with just me and the bird on the rental and she was 19

I just tried that drivespain.com cos someone else told me it was 18+ but went on and in Majorca it seems to be 21 minimum!

email them, it was with europa car rental that we had the car in the end and they were fine about it

You don't need a licence for a moped. When me and the lads went to Magaluf, we all hired a moped and 4 of my mates haven't even had a single lesson on the road. One fell off badly coming out of the hire centre and fucked up the rest of his holiday.
