i have put the clocks with a rev counter out of my 1.0 12v (3 Cylinder) corsa and tried them on my dads 1.2 8v (4 Cylinder) and i can confirm that they do not work properly. My 1.0 12v shows about 5k rpm when i put my foot down when standing and my dads 1.2 8v showed 3k with foot down.
Just thought i would clear this up as ppl said that they would not work but no-one was actually sure what would happen. Well now you know.

I thought everyone knew this?
It's just like me trying the rev counter on my V6 in my old Astra - it just won't work!

You mean put it somewhere no-one will look and instead just make a new thread asking the question whether their clocks will work?
