hi tryna get my spare pc running but everything i open/run says not able to open because it is not a valid win32 application.
so if i open a mp3 it says windows media player is valid?
is there a way around this? i thought i mite be a virus restrictin me to open anything, so put virus software on cd and tried to install it onto the pc, but....... it says to anything i try to install that its not a valid win32................
now ive tried to jus reinstall xp, but when u boot up it dosnt give me the option to boot xp from cd!!!
help please! thanks

you need to change the settings in your bios to look for cd then hard drive....

when you boot your pc, it should ask you if you want to go into bios, this is usually by pressing the F2 key or Del key on most computers, now in there you need to find the boot sequence and change it so that CD/DVD is first then your hard drive.
