Whats it like working in a phone shop, im looking at applying to carphone warehouse, the link, o2 etc.... just part time but i see a lot of it is commission based?

I love/hate my job.

It can be good at times and really well paid. Then it can suck balls and pay shite Mystery shopper

It is good at times but it can also be a pain in the arse. Carphone warehouse are a good comapny to work for, pay well & they look after their staff. The network shops normally pay well too

My wage is crap Only staying because Im moving into the management side of things...

The only thing that put me off is the the starting wage at carphone warehouse is £4.30 ish plus commission and i dunno wot the comission rates are?

Carphone are very switched on business wise. They get alot of exclusives & generally stay ahead of the competition. Hence why they are the most profitable mobile phone company in our country & have been for the past few years.


I imagine their commission rate is fairly good.
