i was wondering if u know if they charge u if u declaire body kit? coz i was told they only charge for engine mods?

and if they do charge, how much?

I used to be with them but my car was nearly standard at the time

but from what ive heard the charge very little if anything at all for cosmetic mods

they raised my car 2 grps cos i have a bodykit, but alloys and tints and exhausts dont increase premiums, very weird

i had a months insurance with them and they werent arsed at all with body mods as long as nothing with the engine had been modified. didnt even make note of it or anything.

i had a months insurance with them and they werent arsed at all with body mods as long as nothing with the engine had been modified. didnt even make note of it or anything.

im still with them now when i had the corsa i put a full body kit on got it resprayed and a few other things rang to tell them n they didnt want to know really as long as the engine wasnt touched the body mods didnt put the price up a penny

It may be due to the fact that they are a broker, so its down to the actual insurance you have, whether it is with one company or another?

what u meen like a broker being the person who comes to your house to give you quotes and things ? hmmm because once i had the dude come to my house to change me insurance over and another time when he couldnt come i just did it over the call centre phone number wouldnt that be like a call centre for all of CIS or i could be talking shoot

yeah, i did by insurance with cis, but the insurance company who actually insures me is highway.

im with cis and been chewing my nails about this cars in the body shop havin split bonnet ,body kit, alloys etc, full interia and full respray, im with CIS-cheap as chips insurance but when i had a claim on my last casr had an exhaust and things they just said they wouldnt payout for it cos they wernt decleared

any one give me any price examples of how much extra its gona cost me with this little lot, with everything i reckon the car should be about s reg 12,000 kitted-£6k?

My mate crashed other week with cis, he had full kit 17s lowered etc they are payin over 1300 to mend it, wasnt bothered it was modded at all.

no they dont charge you just need to declare that is got a kit! although i wouldnt get insured again by them! i had a crash whilst insured as a named driver after the crash my premium went up (mid term) now at the end of the term its up again to over 2k still under my mums name. or if i use anyother company it under 2k just for me
