If it's properly broken it'll be more than 10 days pain stays for atleast 3 weeks before it starts easing off. Especially the big toe

Its not a displacement fracture luckily, but still, they reckon its going to hurt a lot for 2 months. I just pissed off that i wont be able to snowboard....

after about 2 weeks, just go snowboarding and practice (plus it's summer anyway ) and you'll get used to the pain. I played ice hockey with a fractured toe before, hurts but you get used to it in the end. It's not the worst thing in the world to be fair

I dont want to put it under any early strain though coz i'll be in devon surfing every weekend come July...which doesnt leave me much time to heal...

Ive fractured my toe before at a 17th birthday party when we hired out one of those kids indoor adventure places and some twit jumped off of the bouncy castle into the ball pond and killed my toe in the process also done it to my fingure in the past
I feel for you as i remember it been quite annoying when you forget about it and stand up

I knew straight away that my toes were broken, without waiting for them to turn black? I think the fact they were sticking upwards at about 60 degrees to the rest of my foot kind of gave it away!

I was running through the house for some reason when I did mine, slipped, and slammed my foot underneath a door.
Well, three toes went under the door, the two toes that broke went vertically up the door as my foot slid underneath it...
