Nurburgring race yesterday in e type jag, endurance 25 laps!
Ha ha had to pit every lap, imagine the tyre bill
100 tyres please, there goes 100k and 2 transporters to carry the tyres!
mr b spec is getting quite good now, especially at drifting when his tyres go off

I had a go at trying to get the highest A-Spec points in a arcade race round the nurburgring... 1 lap race.
got like 118 a-spec points in a shit MG MGF on level 10 difficulty...
Then realised I'd have to make my car weigh a tonne and reduce the power to get the a-spec points higher...
Was fucking near impossible... like getting a honda S2000 - reducing the power to likw 197 bhp and then making it weigh 1500 kg - then trying to race zonda's etc haha... Great 200 a-spec points but they kept leaving me behind...
Can't remember what I used in the end, 350z? not sure - but I finally won a 200 a-spec point race round the ring... was near on impossible - had the car only running about 300 bhp and weighing quite a lot... I had to put on crap tyres (normal road) - to try to increase a-spec points.
caught them up through the twistys but down the straights the super cars were leaving me - I got ahead of them all, but down the main straight they were all catching and I had to block them (and make them bump me) to keep them behind.

Highest i have got in GT mode is 160 using the Escort rally car in a Special conditions race on hard

I thought maybe I'd get some sort of bonus or something in arcade mode for winning a 200 a-spec point race.
I was very disapointed when I got nothing

Arcade is and always has been for fun on GT  you never win anything i neve ruse Arcade i always do GT mode even after i've completed it i usually wipe it and start again for some very strange reason

I was only using Arcade - as in the old Gran Turismo you could buy a car mod it and test it - then reset the ps2 and get your money back that you wasted testing the car... Now it auto saves ... so you lose the money
