I;m 18 and I keep getting daft quotes from my insurer, Im paying £1300 on a 1.2 8v corsa and when i rang my insurer up for a 1.6 Astra it was £300 dearer than my 2.0 Astra was 3 months ago! He said the rates have gone up for Car Insurance now Its stupid I done a quote on a 900cc Mini and a Fiat UNO 900cc I got quoted £2000 TPFT Yeh ok! Put my dad as a named driver to see if it went down and it didnt budge, hes 48 with no accidents or claims

WTF is going on?!

Count yourself lucky. Im paying £2130 a year on my Corsa C 1.2 16v. Im 19, and this is my first year of driving. Probably something to do with the area that i live, but takes the piss non-the-less.
