Paul, trouble is the people from MK who want to keep cruising going have spend alot of time and effort it meeting up with police (me and teddy included) to chat about the cruise and how to keep it going, its now the biggest weekly cruise and the police are getting worried about the size but still they continue to allow it with minimum fuss, I think most people who go to MK cruise will agree the police do a great job there. SO you get people who go street racing smash bam crash wallop into some old dear on her way home what will the police do.......shut the cruise down!
Bedfordshire police are monitering ALL cars that go to cranfield and other known racing spots that people think are un monitered. you go there and your ca will get listed, then they wait for you to do bad stuff.......soon you will get a little letter though the door! Also going to watch encourages others to be stoooopid! been a few crashes at cranfield and many near misses!

As stated before:
DONT GO STREET RACING IN MK! will ruin other hard work!

The problem is the police have no problem with "the cruise" but conveining higher powers that the "racing" is not part of it is very difficult. The Mk Cruise staff - myself and Broster included have helped to develop a good realtionship with the police so people can enjoy themselves in safety.

It will take one idiotic piece of driving like what happened last week for instance - to really push things back.

hehe - I've not been to MK Cruise for over like a year and a half - and I wasn't planning to any time soon.

Just curious what was going on with the street races - when you originally said don't go. I was thinking there were pikeys that might car jack you.

Now you've explained it I can see how some twats can ruin all your hard work. It's the same as any cruise - some dick comes along and starts hand brake turning around the place and its nothing to do with you.

if the old bill go up there i wouldnt be asking where it was cos i would already know would'nt i?

i was just curious cos me and my mates where on about it sunday and wanted to go see what it was like. it sounds like the one in birmingham, old bill are always there. and due to the fact that some ppl crash and hav even been pulled out their cars and had them pinched!, we don't bother with that one anymore.
