 just a quickie 
the HU i got, has a set o red and white pre outs, the RCA cable has a red and black side, and the amp has a L and R input.
So how do i connect em? im assuming red goed to red on the HU and RCA, so then black goes to white.....but then would the red side of the RCA go to the R or L input on the amp?
or does it really not matter?

it doesnt matter which way they go as long as left on the unit goes to left on the amp...

Just so long as you plug in the left wire into the left plugs and the same with the right it doesn't matter what colour they are... Mine are blue and purple, for example....

ive swapped em round and stuff, but i dont think it makes much difference really. but cheers anywayz!

It wont make a difference. If you had a mono amp it might, but most of the time it doesnt.
All it does is swap the left and right channels over, you know if you have them the right way because if you balance to the left, all the right speakers turn off. If one of the right speakers are still on and one of ur lefts has turned off, then uve got the wires reversed.
