quite simply can it be done and has anyone done it, surely its a better long term way of doing it than caliper paint? or am i totally off track

no point in getting it powder coated. waste of money.

hammerite will do the job perfectly.

i think the oven that it goes into might be a bit hot for the seals in the calliper, so best to completely strip the caliper down and carefully mask it up

powdercoating is the process where a coat of powder is electostaticaly sprayed onto a peice of metal and then baked in an oven to around 200 degree's

my calipers have been powder coated. only cost me £10. they were completely stripped and masked up before they were done. i have a pic taken on phone if you need it
