This would be better stuff.
the 15w50, just means less cold start protection and higher viscosity when hot.
For a standard engine can't really recommend it cause it costs more, and isn't needed in an everydaymobile.
Although you can chuck anything in, won't stop it running mystically over night.

I pikced up 4 bottle at costco when I saw it only £11.30
I personally normally get valvoline maxlife 10w40, it's abtou £10 for 5L from a motorfactors.
Fully syn is only for mega lone oil changes and high revs kinda stuff

Is the engine as good as it was when it came out of the factory?

Add some prolong oil additive, gives you a free engine warrenty, and 1m $ if you find a better product on the market.
I was'nt convinced at first, but really seems to work well! They are fairly un-known over here, but have just launched a campaign to boost their name.
£21.95 seems fairly steep for oil additive but worth it for the engine warrenty.
Got more details if you want. u2u or call shop 01494 722 000

What does the warranty cover? Would you need any inspection prior to using the additive?

£22 a bottle of additive, and then £10 for the oil, I'd rather go and buy some top line silkolene for that money,
If you want to blow money fully syn all the way
