This morning i had low oil pressure but the level is ok, engine sounded tappety when it warmed up and seemed quieter if driven gently gently for a bit, choices are:

1) Fix It
2) Blow it up
3) Chuck the valver in

And what would cause this problem, maybe an oil change and thicker grade of oil in for now ?

Light stayed on longer than normal at cold, and engine seemed noisy... i assume low pressure runs and pulls fine though

nah mine doesnt come on at all ever guess i have good oil pressure so

The light stayed on a little long

that's very indepth and scientific

Mine take aroudn 4-5secs to turn off once the engine is fired up, if you've ragged it then stopped all the oil will piss back in to the sump pretty sharpish so take longer to re-prime the system before pressure is reached.

If you're that worred invest in a gauge, then see what's happening.
