be anywhere near as fast as a 1.5 honda crx del sol?

Mates got one of these and they are fast for a 1.5

the 1.5 del sol would be little competion for the 1.4 16v.

the more common 1.6 vtec del sol would waste you!

the 1.5 in both the Civic and CRX del Sol is quick do not underestimate it.. they will rip the arse of a 1.4 16v corsa

by the time the corsas changin gear the hondas vtecs just kicked in so i recon it wud waste it! could be close tho ! i dunno! have a race n let us know

Surely the honda would be quicker, therefore get to the top end of each gear faster....so it would need to change gear before the corsa.

the del sol is a very heavy car, the vtec would win but not rape it the 1.5 would be nothing special!
