Got a Sony CDX-L550 headunit in the car and want to remove it and put in another newer Sony headunit. have the prong things for the new head unit but not for the old.

Tried the new ones hoping they would work but no luck. Anyway to get it out other than going to a car audio place or bodging it out?

Thanks in advance

put your hand up behind the headunit and push, failing that, wedge a screw driver in the holes.

You may need to bend some flaps that are hidden in the cage to get it out.
