The barrier is 1549cc...
1549cc and below is £60.50 (6 months) or £110 (12 months)
Above 1549cc is £93.50 (6 months) or £170 (12 months).
And I know the feeling about quality of roads, I reported the pothole-ridden warzone that is the bottom of my road about a week ago, and haven't seen anyone even come to look at it yet...

My dads new one was blue... Red will clash with my paint. Though if it is red when I get one it will match the contamination in my drivers side wing mirror where some idiot at the paint shop managed to get some red and gold flakes in the paint.

from DVLA site ( http://www.dvla.gov.uk/vehicles/taxation.htm )
quote: Private/Light Goods Vehicles (goods vehicles not over 3,500kg) ( registered before 1st March 2001)
Over 1549cc - £170.00 (12 mnths), £93.50 (6mnths)
Under 1549cc - £110 (12mnths), £60.50 (6mnths)

I just see it as another bill to pay Fuel is what is doing my head in at the moment. Just put £28 in (full tank) which will last me around 4 - 5 days. I need to find another part time job until Sept closer to home
