My brakes are making a throbbing noise when I slow down quickly. Throbbing is the best way to describe it, But what does it mean? Are my pads fooked? I surley haven't bent the discs? I'm going to take the wheel off and have a look tomorrow, but anyone got any idea what it is?

No, Was doing 100 yesterday and a turk in Primera pulled out on the Motorway. Only slowed 30mph to 70 though? I am guilty of braking hard occasionally

I had 2 sets of disks and pads fitted on my Corsa in the 15 months i had it.

I've warped the disks on my Vectra now too within 2 months. I think Mav had just fitted them shortly before i bought it..

Right, Pads have started grinding now. Might aswell get pads and disks. Where should I go? I'm a student and pay for repairs myself. Where is cheap?

do it yourself! corsa brakes are the easiest to change, i think haynes gave it a 2 spanner rating which is one higher than topping up your oil!
