64 ... in a 40 .... you aren't supposed to raise you're speed untill after the sign, not speed up as you are approaching it

24mph over the limit, you're lucky you only got 3 points

10% plus 3mph is it not leeway

64 in a 40 is high, as Ally says lucky only 3 points...

My mate got points for parking on zig zag lines near a pelican crossing. Not sure how they can legitimetly give him points on his 'driving license' when he wasnt driving the car.

yes my ex went to court for stopping on zig zags to let his dad outta the car

the traffic warden couldnt remember there being a bus stop there so his solicitor ripped it out of her and he got let off

my mate got 3 points the other week for stopping on zig zags next to a zebra crossing. his mate opened the door and jumped in whilst my mate was stopped too let someone cross the road. so the cdops saw the car stop and saw someone get in. i thought it was harsh, but then again we all get wrongly treaten at times by cops

Its an absolute offence, parking whether you're in the car or not is an endorsable offence.

Same as a speeding offence i guess, if not admitted to then the reg owner gets them.

Thats not true.

It is the keepers responsibility to provide any information within his power to do so which could lead to the identification of the driver.

A keeper who fails to show reasonable diligence in his efforts to identify the driver will be prosecuted under Section 172 of the Road Traffic Act 1988.

It's also worth noting that the registered keeper is not necessarily the keeper of the vehicle.
