Well I've found a Honda Civic VTI in black that I want.
Taking the 4 hour train journey there on Sat morning and all going well gonna have a hoot of a drive the 230 miles home

Question though, how would you go about paying for it? Don't fancy carrying £3.5K on me.

id jst carry the cash but i suppose u could ring up a branch nearby and collect the money fromthe bank when u get down there.

same as a cheque but clears instantly i think! u go in the bank n say i waant a bankers draft for the amount ov 3500 out ov ur account they put the sellers name on it and u giv it the bloke like u wud a normal cheque

Take £3000 bankers draught and £500 cash and say sorry i thought you said £3k on the phone..... Then if wost comes to worst whip it out ya back pocket and say oooh i thought i had £500 stashed somewhere....!!!

Take a mate with you and carry the cash. I did it at one point but took my Dad along as i didn't fancy loosing 6k.
