NTL have been today and put in a new set top box so i can get the 2MB upgrade.

well after spending most of the day on the phone trying to get it sorted, im finally back on the net, so i checked the speed:


Direction ----- Actual Speed -------True Speed (estimated)

Downstream---854 Kbps (106.8 KB/sec) ----922 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream -----121 Kbps (15.1 KB/sec) ----130 Kbps (inc. overheads)

right said there gona sort it for me.

its taken me 10 phone calls, and 2hours on the phone to get everything sorted today, and they thought they were doing me a favour by upgrading me
