Seriously thinking about looking into buying a pub or a nightclub and starting an enteprise. Reckon there is a fair amount of £££'s to be made from doing this. Also want to get out of London so might look for a nice place on the coast.

I've looked into it a bit already and with an outlay of about £100,000 I could be making £40-£50,000 a year which is a hell of a lot more than what I am earning now!

Open up a Gay Bar, Gay Bar, Gay Bar

You could call it the Blue room, and have all the signs in Dark Blue Text

I'm thinking of a nice village pub/restaurant near the kent coast.

Or a nightclub in a busy town centre..

Just read your post again, whats a £100k going to get you? Blu Bamboo is one of the biggest in Newcastle and that cost nearly a million and thats pretty small

£100k would get you a leasehold on a pub/nightclub, hence only earning £40-£50k a year.

If I had £millions to spend, I'd be earning £millions!

Ah, thought you meant you were going to buy/build a night club You might get the sound and light system for that!!

Keep Newcastle in mind if you were prepared to travel this far North

Club is abit more risky than a local pub etc - as you've got drugs, fights etc but if its popular it would be really good

i would love to open a club - one of cardington hangers (google it) is up for sale (needs alot of work), but if you've been inside one there fecking huuuuge.
Build an internal building (to help with sound), split it into levels (a number of clubs and bars) and then save abit of space at the back and rent it out for storage - would be a huge "get pissed" complex

(this one for sale)

running a pub isnt like most people think. You have to be able to work from 8-9 in the morning until 12-1 every night.

my old mans mate has two nightclubs and his fingers in quite a few bars . I know for a fact that they dont take nicely to new people opening up new bars ect . they will ruin your plans very easily by either selling drink cheaper than you can buy it , getting better DJs ect or even worse

he will not get a night club up and running for 100K you need to look at 500K for a sutible venue and thats gonna leave you with a little bit left to buy stock.
