Been having trouble with pc,

firstly try play downloaded dvds and theres no sound in media player

just bought maxim pussy dvd and wont even play that!

Any ideas??

LMFAO you was only correct paul, the little volume sign in media player was pressed so was muted!!

Need the codecs?

search for divx on google and download them, should work after that

bloke at work always clicks that and EVERYTIME logs a call cos he cant remember how to turn mute off

may sound stupid but after the mute incident have you put it in the drive?

Right just tried playing layercake in there 2,

it just brings up the files and not the film, says its a VOB file

windows help says download a decoder where i get that from??

used to play films before though!!

download powerDVD, should play a dream

otherwise, right-click on your dvd drive under my computer, select properties > AutoPlay, select "action to perform", click on "play, use media player", ok etc
