Hey folks,
So I've got the engine out and now presented with a almost clear engine bay, apart from giving it a scrub, can you guys recommend any methods for clearing it and any to-do's that I should really get out of the way while I have the engine out? I don't see it coming out again for abit

just been doing mine today. yours looks clean anyway compared to mine!
i also took the opportunity to underseal the front end and inner wings and under arches wile i was there

UNDERSEAL its black thick sticky shoot. seals metalwork and stops it rusting. protects from salt, water, grit, dirt etc....
i did the whole engine bay in it.gives the covered area a waterproof "skin"

I'd suggest not just sealing over rust IF there might be any, isn't it best to take it back to metal then seal it...??
