just wondering if the qutoe ive got for body work is good or not.

basicly the body shop is spraying the whole side of the car, plus the bonnet and other side wing. Due to stone chips and bad paintwork done by vauxhall!!!!!

quote was 650+VAT, is that good/bad/about right?

as i have no idea.

for my car to be sprayed completely all smoothed a kit fitted was only £1600 inc vat

adi payed 1k for spray, kit fitted morrettes fitted, spoiler smoothed few other things aswel

all in all i think its about 850ish, so its quite steep. but the paint work ive seen of his is mint. i dunno now

if that was without VAT id say jobs a goodun.

But saying that if they are very good sometimes its better to spend more

I got mine done uite cheap, and my bodyshop didnt use half enough laquer so im paying for it now

yeah, at least i know the paintwork will be mint. need it doen before PVS otherwise my car will look rubbish (er)

I paid £400 for re-spraying both sides, doors wings and quarters and also i few other bits aswell!

Maybe try and play them off against each other then!

But if there aint many then you aint got much choice enless your willing to travel!

i know a great sprayer but they got no bake oven.

i also know a bloke who does motor bike bits but his oven isnt bigger enough
