i need to bolt down a 12" sub and a small amp to the bit where the rear seat used to be
has to be solid
cant go above spare and there is no back seats
so needs to be fixed down
amp could go next to spare so that i could work out
just how to solid'ly bolt down sub box

have you got a false floor, or is it straight into the metal?
i used some L shaped brackets 2 on each side of the box, screws into the box and then into the floor. wont move for shit

but do u attacht the false floor to the shell??? thats wat i want to know

that i never knew! but when i get round to making a proper final install im gonna tigreseal some strips of wood to the floor and then screw the false floor into this

I saw some guy who had sum really strong velcrow with it, And it was strong, took two of us to move his box coz he put it in at an angle.

Velcro is the best bet for you as moby said, just make sure you use araldyte or loctite super glue to bond the velcro pads to whatever.
Velcro can be very strong

just test the strenghth, so you dont go driving along and slam on and a sub smacks you inthe back of the head, may hurt a little.

hmm dunno velcro.
doesnt inspire confidence
just had a idea
weld in a rear strut brace and bolt it to that? or a roll cage?

yes u screw or bolt it to the metal work, i just use self tapping screws on mine,in small pilot holes.

i gripfilled 2 wooden struts to the boot floor and screwed the false floor to those
