right tried searching regarding bhp etc for a XE (cant search more than 3 lettes )

I know its v expensive etc.

On a Astra GTE 2.0 16v ( about 155 bhp )

What would be required to get this to about 200bhp ( or maybe just over? )

Looking on regal

Dbilas dynamic individual throttle injector systems (give about 20-25bhp?)

Superchip (about 10-13bhp? )

Cams ??? (kent or piper unsure which is better ?? guessing you need to upgrade cams if your upgrading the rest ).

Any suggestions / help would be great. Cheers

Yes - full set up.

getting to 175-180 is achieveable without them and realibale.

but for over 200bhp you need bodies and a real "proper" map.

Wrong

20XE's are 157bhp
C20XE's are 150bhp

The difference being the inclusion of a CAT

I have the Vauxhall press release on both the "early" Astra GTE 16v (non cat) 157bhp

Cavalier GSi with Cat - 150bhp same engine.

Dont take the V-Files as gospel - they are always wrong

Also cause of the heads too

To get 200BHP of of an XE you need a fresh bottom end, ARP rod bolts
TB's, flowed head, mild cams (264's), exhaust manifold and a mapping sesh.
So about 2000-2500 worth all running.
or to cheat, 50shot of nitrous

You would need higher lift than 264's for over 200bhp
