X is level 3, Z is level 4...

emission laws suck-ass

btw... early GSi's DID have 8v's, but not in this country...

S/Africa tho didnt have 16v GSi's, only 8v ones!

aussie barina's had GSi kitted versions with X16XE engines right up until 1998

yeh they will say M, but they will have been made in the same era as L its just they were late being registered

they should have been L platers because the emission laws changed in 1994. But yes some would have splipped though the net.
