Its against the data protection act to make that information available.

Ok - ill rephrase that - you may be able to find out what type of car it is but not any more than that...

Ah right fair enough. Howcome when you go on an insurance site and put the reg in it tells you what car it is then?
I don't want to know address of owner or anything just exact vehicle model for insurance purposes but i cant remember ever letter of the car i looked at so was goona go by trial and error as i know most of them
