At about just gone 12am there were about 4 little chavs outside smashing the bus shelter windows in (bus shelter is outside our house but on the main road sort of thing) and chucking stuff at the empty house next door that's for sale...

Phoned up Thames Valley Police's finest, and after waiting about 5 minutes in a queue on the phone, managed to speak to someone and explain what was going on, the woman said to me I should've dialled 999 instead of the local police station number I dialled...

Anyways about 10 minutes later two cops came round in an Astra surveying the bus shelter and taking pictures of that and the house next door, checking all our houses for damage etc. and even questioned some chavette that sat down on the bench about 5 or so minutes after the other little shits walked off.

Good to see the old bill doing some work round here for a change. They could've swept up the glass on the street though!

Anyway, that was my exciting bit of news for tonight!

Fuck that, the chavs would have probably had me up for assault, and it would have been ME that would be getting into trouble, not them!

The woman on the phone asked me if I could identify them, I said it's dark outside (hardly any lighting) but I could make out one has a hooded top on, with the hood up, and it's white!

Exactly!

It annoys me these illiterate inbred little gimps have nothing better to do with their time than trying to 'act hard' by smashing up people's houses and bus shelters... Like "wow big man etc."...

I feel I should purchase a shotgun and do a spot of target practice next time...

At least they actually came out for a change. Then again, they probably parked round the corner and made sure the chavs were gone and there was no danger before they went too close.

the non-emergency number is shite, but then again i'd feel daft phoning 999 because of some chavs.

We had 4-5 chavs breaking into to a little chef near me (its empty now) last weekend , my sister rang the police and we had 3 Police cars and a dog unit come and take them away, had a good view from across the road out my window

Quite funy i thought

Best thing you could have done was to film them on camera, or take pictures

It's too dark outside. If I used my digital camera, assuming the pic came out OK which it probably wouldn't because of the glass being in the way, the flash would have gone, and they would have seen me taking pics of them = our house being vandalised next...
