its so annoying tho, because i know i still love her, as much as ive always have, and she still loves me. but i cant take the way shes being, and she cant take the way im being either.

As I was reading this it was me and Danielle down to a tee when we split she ended up with someone else and I rang her (what a mistake) to tell her how much I missed her only for her to tell me she was in bed with her new man OMG I was sick for days Dave, it took me not even 6 months to find Rachel and god damm am I happy with her.
Breaking up will always be better in the long run TRUST ME.

The joys of being young and unsure. She has to do it.
They say you never forget your first love - thats bollocks to be honest. Its just some time to learn about things and then one day you have a proper relationship which is far deeper and causes you far less pain. You'll be grateful that you put yourself through all this when it puts you in a position to run a relationship properly in the future. Works both ways as well. Find someone who has been both happy and hurt and they will have true experience and depth, and they'll think like you will.
Young and cute is OK but old and real is better.

Ian that was emotional!
I was with my first love 2 years, 15-17! I split as we were so overprotective and was getting silly, now she is engaged to a mate of mine and i ma very happy for her, he treats her like a princess and is much more of a better lover than i would have ever been!
Were still extremely good mates, you may find this the case with danny mate

it will mate, liza - my first love was with matt 4 weeks after we split and it broke my heart!
We spoke and whe i was about 18 i met him in a pub, and the guy was sound, it sounds unrealistic but things change!

Dave it might sound harsh but forget her and move on. I spent a long time chasing my first love after we split up. All it did was make it worse for me and she played off it.
Forget her and take a break. Chase some skirt if it makes you feel better and spend some time with your mates. After all your mates love you more (in a none gay way)

TNM - ive already been through chasing my first love, when i was 16 left a few scars i tel the
Thoday - im gona do my best to ignore her if i see her, and try to show that im not bothered about it at all and im better off (might be a challenge thou)
i was txtin her last night because we think she might be tempted to cancel the whole holiday, making my mates lose £90 each, if she does, there WILL be trouble

was with my ex for almost 6 years mate, I can't tell you for how long I've thought what a waste it all was, gets me down sometimes.
The gf helps though, not saying that I'm going out with her just to get over my ex but sometimes I look at Amanda and realise how much better she is.
Time is a healer mate, it might be hard (especially if you see her again) but just try and deal with it.

I had the same problems with my ex at least she admitted to you that she slept with someone else. I knew my ex did but she still didn't admit it.
Move on mate, I thought she was the one for me I was in a bad way when we split up. But after 6 months or so I found a new girl who is so much better than my ex.
The amount of stress I went through with my ex was unbelieveable, I made the mistake and took her back but every argument I would bring up the past. So in the end we finished it. Which was the best thing.
It just takes time mate
