Most of the times majority of so called intrusions are just internet traffic.

Mods please delete this thread

You'd be suprised how many times your computer gets asked if a port is opened during the time its online, todays internet is full of worms infecting peoples computers and a normal charactistic of these worms is to start scanning its local IP range for other machines to infect.

Also these so called internet security programs sold by the likes of Norton and such create so much fucking terror is unbelievable

hardware firewalls are built into the device and are harder to get by also there is alot less setting up for the user.

Define 'intrusion attempt'.

You mean they did a port scan and left? Big time, clearly.

Nismo... the top screen shot already shows us the IP and dns.

I'd take a guess from the IP and say its just your usual home user.

who cares.

Well my sincerest apologies to all you computer whizzkids. I myself know nothing about computers & found it more amusing the fact that it was my broadband provider trying to ' hack' my computer.
Again sorry for wasting your time
