i've got 17" dare v2's on et45 and 205/40/r17 tyres. on full lock it slightly rubs on the front inner arches. i've just bought some spax -35mm suspension and want to know will the rubbing get worse when lowered and what soltions are there? i know about taking the inner arch out but will the engine bay get dirty when driving? is it possible to shave off the bit where it rubs on full lock?

get some 3mm spacers, should help...
BUT you may then need to mod the outer-arch to stop them rubbing there instead!

if i get the spacers m8 it will fail the mot, i know its only 3mm but they are already on the limit now

the wheel must not stick out of the arch 1mm otherwise they could fail it!
