Why are they so noisey, especially when doing the final spin. Been sitting here waiting for it to finish so I can hang it out and go to bed but the noise is doing my head in

lol just did mine as well..
wash mine at 40degrees, then final spin..
but i don't really sit there watching/listening...

Neither do i but the washing machine is in the kitchen/utility which is next to the little study room where the computer is
