My cars a write off it's being picked by the insurance and going to a garage to tell me what i already know. Is it possible to buy the car back of the insurance?
How much would this roughly cost its 95 Corsa B SRI16v

Ok so i can't buy it for spares?
Some one hit me from behind and its bent round by the spare wheel?
Insurance haven't seen it yet but a garage said it will be a write off

it all depends on ur insurance company mate, if ur tptf then u have the option to buy it back. When mine was a write off the engineer came to me so the car never left my poccession (sp)

I'm fully comp but will it be the other persons insurance he hit me and its his fault?

Depending on the catagory it is given depends on the price etc. If its CAT C or D its allowed to be repaired and you'll have to apply for the V5 back, if its CAT B you can strip it of parts but CANNOT repair it

Will i have to pay much for it?
I was thinking of having it as a track/field car would that be legal?

Don't see anything wrong with having it as a track car, you'll have to ask them how much they want. I've known insurance companies to just let people keep the car for free, but its obviously dependant on the value of it. And how much they can get as salvage.

as its an SRI the interior is sort after really
but i know 3-4 with corsas that will want some parts so i'll see what the insurance say.
