engine light came on so i thought i best stop at the nearest safest possible place.
Left the car for about 30mins, tried starting the motor up, and the car would not start. to make it start, i had to press down on the accelerator but even when i done this the rev counter was jumpin all over the place, and eventually idled at 200revs (about to stall)
Could anyone tell me what is going wrong with the engine?
and also how much it would be to get it fixed?
so i have a routh idea of what im paying when it gets towed to some garage.

Just spoke to some dude from a garage and he said that its most likely gona be the crankshaft sensor or somthing like that.
gona cost £100 each
and £45 for a dianogtics check.
and Full service and MOT is gona cost £140
