Nice one, tried HDRI rendering yet?

Took nearly 2 days to render my last anim too

Nah not yet, just rendering a standard avi after using a camera pan to show our 3D environment.

Assignment 2 is an animation like, dinnah what I'm guna do for it yet ... whats HDRI rendering mate?

My mate has a dual processor system at work like which he said I can borrow to half the time its taking to do stuff!

HDRI ^^

Uses the white point in the environment to render more realistically... takes some tweaking tho.

What version of Max are you using?

We're only using version 5. I could of aquired version 7 at home but cos version 5 is on at Uni and Id never used it before my lecturer said just use 5 so I could get to grips with his tutorials etc...does the job alreet like! Makes me wonder what version 7's capabilities are!!

However, if you download the Brazil R/S plugin for 5 you'll get some stunning work.

I'm still using 5 for that reason
