in all honesty I have only seen the car once its one of my mates friends

On speaking to TTS at the autosport motorshow they said 0-60 is around 5 seconds i think but the supercharger gives the Vtec so much more torque so its in gears were you notice it most.

4K is for all parts and ECU re-mapping etc. but then the suspension will upgrading along with brakes but gearbox is fine.
TTS had a letter from Honda UK stating that the box can handle up to 450BHP

They quoted that if you could pick a new Type R up for 16K - which you can really then for 20K you will have 420BHP.

What was your Vectras BHP? MCD's (My mates veccy) is slightly quicker than his mates type r.. has most of the CS15 package so aint standard its 208BHP and 155BHP at the wheels.. just to give you and idea, though they don't race 0-60 its always on the way to work on the bypass so usually 40 onwards... the typr r would possibly be quicker from launch to 60...? not sure.. Just im debating a 2.0L corsa or V6 Vec next although it would probably be more fun in a corsa

just cos veccy has more power dont mean quicker

valver has more initial RAW power and is just there all the time, plus veccy wold be better for torque and high speed cruising

depends mate, initially you are right and a 2.0L corsa would rape a standard V6 vec... as i used to own one but the flywheel mod on the vectra see's it less torquey high up and alot better low down more 16V like.. be a good race though i reckon.. my mates taking his down the strip at PVS so we'll see even though the 1/4 mile aint the best way of telling how quick the V6 is due to the long gears but we'll see! wasn't any tuned ones last year... best was 15.9 in a standard V6 CDX with a magnex on!
