thort things were going well for me. passed me drivin test, got a job and got the car on the road.
when i was driving round tonight heared a strange noise, and it started getting louder and louder. so i phoned my dad who came out and said it sounds like the cambelt is going to break so it looks like were going to have a long day tomorow messing with the car

I thought the cam belt just went....no noise before hand!!! U sure its not the big end thats fucked????

Cambelt on my Nova 1.3 SR went and it made no noise at all. Everything just died. Didn't cost much on a 1.3 8v though.

just be glad your timing belt didn't snap without warning

turns out its just a tensioner thats gone, my dad is goin to take it to work and sort it on monday, he thort it was the cam going. he thinks it may need a water pump too
