hey, just wondered if someone could get me the link so i can work out how many points i have so that i can apply to uni. on the UCAS site. i've looked but cant see it help would be appreciated! cheers

C= 80
D= 60
E= 40

AS level
Half the grades above

My mate is at Exeter and its is a nice university and city. Dont know anything about leicester though.

Exeter is in Devon, not Cornwall by the way

I've had 5 out of 6 of my offers back. Still waiting for Swansea politics dept, the economics and law from swansea have already given me offers :s.

seperate campus is in cornwall specifically for sciences

Why's the point system so high?

Why don't they just make it:
A = 5
B = 4
C = 3
D = 2
E = 1

The old system was lower IIRC, but they changed it to a higher one. No idea why.

its that higher so that it takes account of the scottish marking systems aswell

You can get bonus points for doing keyskills and critical thinking and stuff like that for stuff like 15 extra points.

Doing it this way is easier than having 0.5 points or whatever.

cheers fellas, much appreciated. dunno what to do now really. get a job which pays more money or go uni. i know its late i was intending to go thru the clearance scheme in august
