Definately a sound investment...wouldnt say he person who owns it is an idiot as far as I can see he has made money?

Shame its been wrapped up i would love to have one to trash around Someone i knew at uni built his own cossie for near enough 12K and it was running around 350bhp

Sure it wernt german built with the sierra floor pan like the genuine ones but just looking at it you couldnt tell

225ishbhp arent they (not 100% sure)

for 10k i would prefer a mad mint saph, or a 3dr, it wont get you anythign col, as a smashed up one went for £7950 the other day

Yeah think about that 220odd standard and 6secs 0-60

Im planning to sell my scooby soon to free up some cash and just borrow motors until my company gives me a car then maybe get something later on.

Quite like the idea of something I can sell years down the line for same kinda money I paid for it

Bloke 2 doors away had a gleaming RS500, never drove it though only polished it and trailered it to shows - To me thats not a car its an expensive ornament. I think he felt this aswell because he didnt keep it that long.

I on the other hand would like a car for weekend use on limited miles that I can still tinker about with/maybe restore more than modify as a hobby but not to the extent some people go...u know what I mean, I still want to drive it and drive it hard without worrying about it too much

I have to say ive got a few ideas of my own but still got to do some ground work.

All I know is its costing a fortune running my impreza as a daily driver....but its not special enough to keep as a weekend weapon

Nice one Chris, spot on, a man after my own heart

BTW, car looks fan-f*cking-tastic, and i'm gonna have to look away now - am getting envy pains.

Will have one one day - need a better paid job.

Will get sensibly thrashed of course, and kept away from road salt
