so did vauxhall but 3 engines into the corsa
8v 16v and a 16v ecotec

yes cuz the ecotek is supposed to be enviromentaly freindly! certain laws say all engines must be equiped wid this crap
which is a bit naff cuz it loses u power example 1600 sport 106 bhp
1600 gsi non ecotek 109!

is there the same choise of engines in the 1.2. and is there much difference between the ecotec and the 16v 1n the 1.2

lets clear something up, the C16XE is an ecotec design engine, since it incorporates GM's ECOlogy/TEChnology thesis, apart from having Exhaust Gas Recirc. So in essence, ALL 16v Corsa engines are Ecotec.
Engines found in a Corsa B 16v are as follows...
X12XE - 1.2 16v
X14XE - 1.4 16v
C16XE - 1.6 16v
X16XE - 1.6 16v
